This workshop will provide counseling professionals with a practical, developmentally informed framework for treating ADHD in children and adolescents. Participants will review current ADHD etiology and symptom presentation across developmental stages. We will emphasizes a systems-based approach, offering concrete strategies for working effectively with parents and collaborating with teachers and schools. Clinicians will leave with practical tools to empower children and teens to better understand and manage their ADHD symptoms, reduce shame, and improve functioning at home, school, and in peer relationships.

About Holly Sapp, LPC:
Holly Sapp, LPC, graduated with a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2011 from Southern Nazarene University. She has been licensed since May of 2014 and an LPC Approved supervisor since July of 2016. Holly has worked in private practice and also in a public school setting as a mental health counselor. She has been the Executive Clinical Director of Renew Counseling Center at SNU since June of 2021. She has supervised over 60 interns and candidates in her career in public schools and at Renew. She has experience counseling children, adolescents, couples, adult individuals, and families.
