This workshop will focus on how to increase reunification efforts to reduce relapse within families currently involved in the child welfare system. Participants will learn specific interventions that can be utilized during supervised visitation to increase therapeutic value and skills. This is an experiential workshop where skills can be immediately applied to work and practice.

About Dr. Sharolyn Wallace
Sharolyn Wallace PhD, LCSW, RPT-S, IMHE has been a professor at Tulsa Community College for 30 years. She has served on the Oklahoma State Board of Licensed Social Workers, Association for Play Therapy, Oklahoma Chapter of the NASW, National Association of Social Workers, and the Association of Social Work Boards. Dr. Wallace has published six children's books and numerous articles on play therapy and reunification and relapse prevention with child welfare families. She was named the CV Ramana award recipient for Outstanding Contribution to Oklahoma's Children and the 2016 Social Worker of the Year. She is currently building equine therapy model programs for the State of Oklahoma.
