Children who sexually act out create a family crisis with at times difficulty in meeting specific safety needs. Children and adolescents often have a very difficult time finding services to address their specific needs in an outpatient setting. Inpatient treatment can aid the child and family in understanding these behaviors and plan for a safe return into the home when possible. This training will also explore the development an individualized treatment plan for the adolescent and family with specific goals related to their offense patterns and perpetrator/victim needs in mind.
